REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of a 2-year relevant technical degree or 5 years of Quality experience (desired)
As the Quality Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless alignment of our organization's quality management system with customer expectations, internal standards, ISO, and regulatory/legal requirements. Working collaboratively with the team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the consistent delivery of products that exceed customer expectations.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive education and coaching on the Quality Management System, effectively acquire and manage resources, and lead initiatives for quality technical management to drive performance improvements. Building and sustaining relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, suppliers, and direct reports will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will have oversight of the review of technical information to ensure both quality and producibility.
Responsibilities:
Taking a lead role in all quality activities
Conducting CMM programming
Performing dimensional inspection using basic hand measurement tools
Measuring and monitoring internal processes
Conducting internal audits
Completing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Actively participating in continuous improvement efforts
Serving as the ISO Management Representative
Acting as the ITAR Empowered Official
Handling other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A minimum of a 2-year relevant technical degree or 5 years of experience (desired)
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
Expertise in FAIRs, PPAPs, Capability Studies, GR&Rs, etc.
The ability to take direction with minimal supervision
Proven leadership skills
Experience in CMM programming
Proficiency with ISO 9001
Strong troubleshooting aptitude
The ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
A solid understanding of GD&T
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Strong interpersonal skills
