UW-Stout Polytechnic students, staff create public artwork as part of Murals in Menomonie

Menomonie, Wis. – University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic students and staff members will play key roles in Murals in Menomonie, a citywide artistic event expected to involve hundreds of artists from around the world collaborating to create 15 public murals in and around Menomonie.

Two of the murals have particular relevance to UW-Stout Polytechnic and may be of interest to members of the media:

Work on the murals is expected to occur between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Murals in Menomonie is spearheaded by The Walldogs, an international organization of muralists, artists and designers who travel to one city each year to create large-scale public art. UW-Stout Polytechnic is among the sponsors of Murals in Menomonie.
