Dunn County is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as County Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing county operations, implementing policies set by the Board of Supervisors, and ensuring efficient service delivery to residents. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with strong financial acumen, a commitment to ethical governance, and experience in effective administration in public sector management.
Under the direction of the Dunn County Board of Supervisors, performs complex professional work planning, developing, and administering the County's services, programs, policies, and ordinances. Coordinates and directs all administrative management functions of the county government not otherwise vested by law in boards or commissions or in other elected officers. Performs full range of duties vested in the position pursuant to Wis. Stat. 59.19 and Chapter 5 of the Dunn County Code of Ordinances, including legislative duties, budget preparation and execution, financial reports and planning, personnel administration, property management, appointments of office staff and officials, coordinate with other jurisdictions, and administrative duties.
The anticipated annual salary is between $130,000 and $171,000, based on skills and prior experience.
