Job Duties:
Reporting to the Director of Disability Service (DS), the Testing Coordinator assists in maintaining an accessible and inclusive testing environment for students with disabilities. The Testing Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the integrity of the testing center and all aspects of the testing process through coordination of arrangements with students, professors, and the DS staff. This includes scheduling and proctoring exams as well as any other test coordination as necessary. Additionally, this position assists with other duties within the DS office including but not limited to assisting other staff with the coordination of accommodations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Protects exam materials at all times
- Assists in preparing exam materials, equipment, and bringing supplies down to the exam room
- Responds to student questions and concerns
- Observes examinees at all times and enforces examination protocol, including no cheating and no talking
- Ensures that students enter the exam room under the designated guidelines, are wearing the proper clothing, and only have approved items with them in the exam room

Compensation:
Minimum starting hourly wage is $19.50 plus benefits, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a 9-month, academic year position which is a .75 FTE appointment. Individuals will work full-time during the academic year. A six-month probationary period is required. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to effectively handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.
- Excellent judgment including sensitivity to personal and confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and highly detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to work independently and/or as a collaborative member of a team.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 2+ years of experience working in higher education.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervisory oversight.
- Understanding of disability issues and concerns as they relate to the educational environment.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities including neurodiverse students and students with sensory disabilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of assistive technology.
- Experience coordinating means of equitable access.
