Conflict in the workplace costs organizations thousands if not millions of dollars a year. Conflict stems from 3 areas: Confused or conflicting goals; Confused or conflicting role expectations; and Interpersonal conflict that stems from personal needs or not being met or accommodated in relationships. This session will give an introductory look at "Social Styles". That is understanding how you and the people you work with behave in assertiveness and task/personal relationships. This knowledge can help you manage conflict and move to collaboration.
