About the Bowl For Kids’ Sake
Do you love bowling and kids? Do you want to get more involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters? Participate in Bowl for Kids? Sake 2009! Bowl for Kids? Sake is a fun, active way to raise money that creates and supports high-quality one-to-one mentoring relationships in our community. It takes $1,000 to create, support and maintain a mentor relationship for 1 year ? but the life changing effect it can have on children, families, schools and communities is long lasting! Have a ball, raise money and Bowl for Kids? Sake because ONE GRAIN OF SAND CAN CREATE WAVES OF CHANGE?
-Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the largest fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Northwestern Wisconsin
-Bowl for Kids’ Sake is our national signature fundraising and marketing event
-This event raises about 20% of our annual operating budget
-Income is raised 2 ways: sponsorships and pledges the bowlers collect to participate in the event
-Our 2009 Net Profit Goal is $143,000!!
-Teams consist of 4-6 bowlers
-We ask each bowler to raise $100 to participate in the event
