Sake is a fun\, active way to raise money that creates and supports high-quality one-to-one mentoring relationships in our community. It takes $1\,000 to create\, support and maintain a mentor relationship for 1 year ? but the life changing effect it can have on children\, families\, schools and communities is long lasting! Have a ball\, raise money and Bowl for Kids? Sake because ONE GRAIN OF SAND CAN CREATE WAVES OF CHANGE?-Bowl for Kids' Sake is the largest fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Northwestern Wisconsin-Bowl for Kids' Sake is our national signature fundraising and marketing event-This event raises about 20% of our annual operating budget-Income is raised 2 ways: sponsorships and pledges the bowlers collect to participate in the event-Our 2009 Net Profit Goal is $143\,000!!-Teams consist of 4-6 bowlers-We ask each bowler to raise $100 to participate in the event
