UW-Stout holds Frozen Four Watch Party at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at Memorial Student Center

Menomonie, Wis. — Members of the media and the public are invited to join students and other UW-Stout hockey fans for a Frozen Four Watch Party as the No. 5 Blue Devils take on No. 1 Hobart College in the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Championship.

The Memorial Student Center is hosting the watch party starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 27, in the Terrace/Fireside Café on the second floor. The game between UW-Stout and Hobart College, the defending national champions, will be shown on the big screen for communal viewing and cheering. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

The game will be at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., where the Blue Devils defeated last year’s runner-up, Utica University, on March 21. The 5-1 victory on Utica’s home ice gave the Blue Devils their first trip to the national semifinals since 2009.

The winner of Friday’s matchup will move on to play the winner of the Aurora University vs. Hamilton College game in the NCAA DIII Championship. If UW-Stout wins on Friday, a Finals Watch Party will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, in the Memorial Student Center Huff’s Lounge.
