EAU CLAIRE, December 20, 2024 – Junior Achievement of Wisconsin’s Northwest Region announced today Marine Credit Union Senior Vice President, Josh Moore, as the newest addition to its Board of Directors as it seeks to empower area young people to own their financial futures and career success.
In his new role, Moore will work to support and grow Junior Achievement (JA) K-12 educational programming in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship and open new pathways as it seeks to expand programming to 18-to-25-year-olds to provide young adults with critical life skills.
Moore currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Marine Credit Union (MCU), where he oversees a team of leaders, specialists, and representatives providing service out of four states and in various areas of mortgage lending.
“We are thrilled to add the financial expertise of Marine Credit Union leadership to the Northwest Board,” said Susan Peterson, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Northwest Regional Director. “MCU has a history of strong commitment to JA volunteering, working to support our programs serving elementary students to young adults.”
From MCU headquarters in La Crosse, WI, Moore works to support his team in pursuit of MCU’s mission to advance the lives of people from a place of financial need to a life of ownership and giving back to their communities.
Giving back to the community has long been an important part of Moore’s work, who has served numerous area organizations, such as JA and the United Way, through volunteering as well as philanthropic support. Together with MCU team members, Moore works to help clients move forward on their personal journeys.

Prior to joining MCU in 2015, Moore was with HSBC Bank, where he worked since 1998 in Senior Management positions in both the United States and Canada. Moore attended Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. He has a special passion for hockey and has served as coach and hockey director for numerous local teams. Moore has two sons with his wife, Sara. They reside in Eau Claire, WI. In addition to hockey, the family enjoys supporting and participating in other local sporting teams and events.
