Dunn County Economic Development Corp.
The Dunn County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is a private, not-for-profit corporation that was formed for the sole and exclusive purpose of promoting, encouraging, and supporting positive economic development and growth for Dunn County. Our office is located in the Dunn County Gov. Center in Menomonie. We welcome visitors and any individual or company seeking to build a business, expand a business, or relocate a business. DCEDC staff also promote the West Central Wisconsin region. We work with commercial and industrial site developers, company facility representatives, and other relocation consultants and actively pursue every lead. We also work closely with the Dunn County governmental entities, including the City of Menomonie and all of the County's villages and towns. We also partner with the State of Wisconsin's Department of Commerce, Momentum West, and the Wisconsin Economic Development Association to support individuals and businesses interested in locating in, growing in, and prospering in Dunn County. We provide startup consultation in collaboration with UW-Extension, SCORE, and the Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce. We work closely with all branches of the University of Wisconsin, especially UW-Stout, and also with the region's technical college campuses, especially the Menomonie campus of the Chippewa Valley Technical College to assure that expert training and technical assistance is provided to all who seek support. We also provide info and application assistance for local, state, and federal funding programs to any who find the programs valuable.
