C&J’s Candy Store & Scoop Shoppe is more than candy and ice cream — we’re an experience! With two locations and a growing online store, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to help us scale with accountability, efficiency, and fun. This role will oversee day-to-day operations, staff scheduling, payroll, and team development, while helping us track KPIs and improve profitability.
Responsibilities include:
Leading staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance accountability
Managing inventory, waste reduction, and cost efficiency
Overseeing payroll and basic reporting in Square POS
Coaching team culture built on teamwork, accountability, and fun
Supporting marketing promotions and online order growth
Qualifications:
1+ year experience in operations management, retail management, or food service leadership
Strong people and leadership skills — balancing accountability with encouragement
Comfortable with POS systems (Square preferred), scheduling, and KPIs
Flexible, hands-on, and passionate about customer experience
