Guests of the Silver Moon New Year's Eve Ball will enjoy a cash bar with hors d'oeuvres served at 6 p.m. followed by a three-course meal at 7 a.m. Live musical entertainment will be provided during the social hour and meal. Dancing under the Silver Moon will begin at 8 p.m. The two dance floors will feature The Robert Baca Jazz Orchestra of Eau Claire and The Rada Dada Band of Menomonie. The evening will also include a dessert bar and a champagne toast at midnight.
"It will be a total evening of enjoyment, from the moment our guests step in the door of the gorgeously festooned Historic Masonic Center to the final toast at midnight. The room will be transformed into a wintery wonderland and sparkling delight with a scrumptious meal, outstanding entertainment and dancing," said Gary Hageness event co-chair.
All proceeds from the Silver Moon New Year's Eve Ball will support The Children's Dyslexia Center of Upper Wisconsin, founded by the Scottish Rite Masons, Valley of Eau Claire, in 2011. Free remedial after school tutoring is offered on a first come, first serve basis to all children ages 6-18 regardeless of economic, ethnic and religious background or Masonic affliction.
