Snowshoeing is a popular winter activity. Make your own pair of traditional, wooden snowshoes in this two-day workshop. Choose from one of three styles of snowshoes: Green Mountain bear paw (10” x 36”), Alaskan trail shoe (10” x 56”) or the all-purpose Ojibwa style (11” x 54”). All shoes are laced with tubular nylon, which is comfortable to work with, and has great strength when varnished. Bring to class: PATIENCE, bag lunch, tape measure, pencil, scissors and matches or lighter. Please indicate snowshoe frame style desired when registering. Price includes snowshoe kit, bindings, and two days of instruction. Registration and full payment required by December 20.
