Lt. Colonel Cynthia Rasmussen will be speaking about service member/veteran and family reintegration issues, warrior skills versus home skills, and a brief review of Combat Operational Stress Reaction vs. PTSD versus TBI and other Behavioral Health issues. Lt. Colonel Rasmussen RN MSN CANP has served as a Mental Health Nurse in the Army Reserves for 23 years. She is the psychological director, Combat Stress Officer and Sexual Assault Response Coordinator for soldiers and families in 19 states. She has received the MOPH Honorary Service Award from the Military Order of the Purple Heart National Service Officer Training. Cynthia will be speaking from 3pm-4pm and there will be a veteran student panel from 4pm-4:30pm.
