Wednesday, July 7, 9 a.m. ? 4 p.m.
No matter what we do in life, energy is involved. We'll learn about the basics of energy through a series of fun and challenging activities. Examples of possible activities include launching rocket balloons, designing a roller coaster using computers, measuring the energy in snack food (don?t be surprised if we eat some as well!), using the sun to make artwork, and calculating how far an arrow will travel based on how much pull force you apply. And we'll use the Reserve's energy bike and see who can light it up the most. This one-day program is for boys and girls aged 10-12 years old.
Campers should bring lunch with a drink and insect repellent and should come dressed for being outside. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided.
Full payment required at registration until June 15.
Friends $30 Nonmembers $35
