After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with honors in premed; Dan decided to take the more secure route and left medicine for the comedy scene. He moved back to New York City and became an instant hit. Dan's acts hit on his everyday life growing up in New York City and as a first-generation American. His stage-presence blends charm, likability and wit in a way that keeps crowds in stiches and at the same time, very comfortable. Dan performs regularly at all of the Manhattan comedy clubs, and is a founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade-based improve troupe, Gun show. He was a finalist on Season 2 of NBC's Last Comic Standing, staff writer on MTV's Short Circuit, has written for Comedy Central's Crank Yankers, an was featured on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. He has also opened for Lewis Black, Jay Mohr, and Patton Oswalt.
