The Photography Club is proud to announce that conservationist and photographer Craig Blacklock will be holding a public program at the Reserve Friday, April 25 and a workshop Saturday, April 26. Blacklock, a Minnesota resident, has made his name photographing the beauty of the upper great lakes. His books including Minnesota Wild and The Duluth Portfolio, and is most recently The Lake Superior Images. Aside from his books, Blacklock has co-founded Blacklock Nature Sanctuary, and was pivotal in creating the Lake Superior Water Trail of Minnesota. It is this love of nature that has guided his career, and what he hopes to pass onto his audience, and onto everyone at Beaver Creek. His Friday evening presentation will cover digital wildflower photography and north shore images. A book signing and reception will follow. Saturday's workshop in the field will be limited to 10 individuals. Program only: Full payment required at registration until April 23
