Big Brothers Big Sisters is kicking off the largest fundraiser of the year, Bowl for Kids’ Sake (presented by Country Fest / Rock Fest). The Kick-offs for this fun event are coming soon!
The Menomonie Bowl for Kids’ Sake Kick-off will be on Tuesday, March 6th at the Menomonie Public Library (600 Wolske Bay Rd). There will be two timeframes to attend this event, 12:00-1:00pm or 5:30-6:30pm.
The UW-Stout Bowl for Kids’ Sake Kick-off will be on Monday, March 5th in the Birch Room at Memorial Student Center (302 10th Ave) from 5:30-6:30pm.
Each of the Kick-Off events will provide information about Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Bowl for Kids’ Sake event, food, a chance to win prizes, and everyone who attends will receive a free gift. All team captains who attend will receive a long sleeve t-shirt. Everyone who wants to learn more about Bowl for Kids’ Sake or how to get involved is invited to attend.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin’s largest fundraising event raising about 1/3 of the annual operating budget. It offers adults, children, and local businesses in our community an opportunity to have fun while raising money to positively impact the lives of children.
Each Bowl for Kids’ Sake event features food, entertainment, games and prizes. Save the date for the 2012 Menomonie Bowl for Kids’ Sake event.
The Menomonie Bowl for Kids’ Sake will be Friday, April 27th at Broadway Bowl with two shifts (5:30 & 8:00pm).
