Comedian Rachel Feinstein will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Monday, November 12th at 8:00 p.m. in the Terrace, which is located on the upper level of the Memorial Student Center.
Expect the unexpected from Rachel Feinstein...because her sweet looks are deceiving. Rachel’s comedy is edgy, smart and will leave you laughing hours after she has left the stage. Feinstein was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She is the daughter of a civil rights lawyer and a blues musician who goes by "Hurricane Howie". Rachel opened for him as a kid, doing impersonations of various loud, jarring relatives. Early in her career Rachel developed both a strong need to perform and a keen eye for the absurd & the unjust. Performing at clubs around NY and up the East Coast for the last five years, Rachel ropes in her audiences with her unique, character driven style of storytelling. She has appeared on Comedy Central’s "Insomniac", is a regular at Caroline’s Comedy Club on Broadway, and can be seen this fall on Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend". Rachel has also written for The Onion and Heeb Magazine.
This event is sponsored by Blue Devil Productions of the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is FREE with a Stout ID. Please call (715) 232-2432 or go to bdp.uwstout.edu for more information. Watch some of Rachel's act at Rachel-feinstein.com.
