Auditions | Fiddler on the Roof

Audition Announcement!
Join Menomonie Theater Guild to audition for the Broadway classic "Fiddler on the Roof." Fiddler on the Roof tells the story of Tevye, a poor Jewish milkman in the Russian village of Anatevka during the Pale Settle, as he struggles to uphold religious traditions against a backdrop of encroaching modernity and rising anti-Semitism, especially as his three eldest daughters defy arranged marriages for love, forcing the family to confront the shattering reality of forced emigration from their homeland. The play explores themes of tradition vs. change, faith, family, and persecution, all symbolized by the precarious image of a fiddler on a roof, trying to maintain balance.
