The Dunn County Beekeepers present an “Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping”. The workshop is designed to provide the basic information necessary to start beekeeping in Wisconsin. Intended for those who have no experience with bees or beekeeping. Participants will be guided through their first year of beekeeping covering topics like equipment/hive set-up, caring for bees/basic bee biology, harvesting honey and other products from your hive and planting to support pollination. Meals and materials included in registration.
