Dunn County Health Department Awarded Community Foundation Grant to Continue Community Resource Guide
Dunn County Wisconsin, October 1, 2026 – On September 24, 2026, the Community Foundation of Dunn County awarded the Dunn County Health Department a $3,500 Community Impact Grant from to support the continuation and distribution of the Community Resource Guide for 2026–2027. The guide serves as a trusted “one-stop shop” for local resources, helping residents find information on housing, food access, mental health services, transportation, childcare, healthcare, and other essential supports. First created in 2020 and printed in 2021, the guide is now a well-recognized resource used by thousands of community members each year.

This funding will allow Health Dunn Right’s Mental Health and Wellness Action Team to update, print, and distribute approximately 5,000–7,000 guides across Dunn County. The guide will remain available in multiple formats, including a pocket-sized printed version and an online platform with mapping and bookmarking features to ensure easy access for residents and partner organizations

The online guide includes mapping features, easy navigation, and regularly updated resource information. Newly printed pocket-sized guides will be available starting in November at community locations across Dunn County, including the Menomonie Public Library, Stepping Stones, and other partner organizations. Additional distribution sites will be shared on the Dunn County Health Department and Health Dunn Right Facebook pages as printing and delivery begin.
