CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Position – CNC Machinist, Programmer, Setup
Job Location – Eau Claire, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 3pm–1am)
Starting Pay – $20-28/hour based on experience

Required Education – Associate Degree or 2+ years of prior CNC machining experience preferred
Required Experience – Machine Tool Associate Degree or 2+ years prior CNC Machining experience is preferred

We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for producing precision parts by effectively planning, programming, setting up, and operating both CNC and manual machines. A strong focus on maintaining quality and adhering to safety standards is essential to success in this position. Machinists should be capable of doing their own set-ups and have some Programming experience. Lathes, Vertical Mills, Horizontal Bars doing programming, set-up's, and machining. SurfCam software used.

Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to produce machined parts.
- Plan, program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines to meet production specifications.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet high standards and specifications.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain precision and quality.

Qualifications 
- Machine Tool Associate Degree or 2+ years of prior CNC machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
- Solid understanding of tooling selection, usage, and maintenance.
- Positive attitude with the ability to communicate openly and respectfully with team members.
- Strong focus on precision and quality in all aspects of machining.
