Starting Pay – Starts at $23/hour

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience drafting or CAD, or equivalent experience and education
The Design Consultant collaborates with clients to design and coordinate custom projects, including kitchen, bath, and millwork renovations. This role involves evaluating project requirements, preparing design layouts, managing materials and cost estimates, and ensuring seamless project execution. The ideal candidate combines creative expertise with strong customer service skills to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs while driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
-Consult with customers to understand project requirements, develop design plans, and provide tailored recommendations for kitchen, bath, and millwork projects.
-Prepare design layouts and specifications using blueprints, sketches, or CAD software to bring client visions to life.
-Oversee the purchase, production, and delivery of materials while ensuring accurate invoicing and timely completion of specialty orders.
-Actively promote company products and services, make sales calls, and pursue opportunities for add-on sales to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
-Address customer issues, resolve project challenges, and collaborate with internal teams, such as purchasing and production, to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
-At least two years of experience in design, remodeling, or related fields, with a strong ability to create layouts using blueprints, sketches, or design software.
-Proven ability to consult with clients, manage project details, and actively engage in sales to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
-High school diploma or GED required; additional experience in drafting, architectural design, or CAD applications is preferred.
