Spend the morning with Beaver Creek Bird Banders. Begin the morning with a bird hike at the Reserve to look for spring migrants. Then wander back to the Nature Center for a banding demonstration. This is a great opportunity to see birds both through the binoculars and in hand. Learn about bird identification, bird behavior, and why we band them. This program is open to bird enthusiasts of all abilities. The program begins at 6:30 a.m. and hikers should meet at the Nature Center and wear comfortable clothing. If there is thunder, lightning or moderate to heavy rain in the area, the program will NOT be held. Don’t forget your binoculars and field guides. Registration and full payment required by May 3
