As a part of "Menomonie Spooktacular" month, brought to the city of Menomonie from its historic partners, comes the first installment of Museum Horror Movie Night. The Dunn County Historical Society will host a showing of 1932's "Freaks.' Start time - 8:00 pm $5.00 Admission for all 12+ Admission includes Halloween candy, free popcorn donated by Menomonie CEC Theater, beverages will be available. All proceeds go to the Dunn County Historical Society. Before the start of the film, employees of the Historical Society will speak briefly on the connection sideshow entertainers had in Menomonie in the 19th & 20th Century. Movie Synopsis: A circus' beautiful trapeze artist agrees to marry the leader of side-show performers, but his deformed friends discover she is only marrying him for his inheritance.
