"The details and resilience of centenary buildings reflect the character of a town's people and illuminate the modern changes in construction. However, the value of a college town is often overlooked by its student body. Join Maria Lewis as she shows us just what is so interesting about the buildings we so frequently pass. Lewis will offer a glimpse into the past and present features of Main Street Menomonie as she presents research she completed for an Honors Contract at UW-Stout. She will present original photos of the intricate features of some of Menomonie's oldest buildings as well as the history behind the buildings."
