Local School Leaders React to the Budget on The West Side March 4

 

The potential effect of Governor Evers’ proposed changes to funding public K-12 education is the focus of The West Side on Monday, March 4th at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls.

Host Rich Kremer will welcome Mary Ann Hardebeck, Eau Claire Area School District Superintendent; Mark Bezek, Somerset School District Superintendent; and Anne Chapman, a Wisconsin Policy Forum researcher with a focus in K-12 education, to discuss the impact of the proposed changes to the education budget that looks to increase funding.

The West Side is a call-in program focused on issues specific to western Wisconsin.  The show airs on Mondays at 10 a.m. on 88.3 WHWC-FM/ Menomonie-Eau Claire and 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls. Listeners may call in with questions and comments during the program at 1-800-228-5615.
