Job Description
The Bridge to Hope, a non-profit agency serving victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking is seeking a Pepin County Advocate. This is a part-time, 20-25 hours a week, position with flexible scheduling, requiring some evenings or weekends.
The Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree and strong organizational, social media, and computer skills. This position requires working with victims in a crisis setting, and the ability to stay calm. Victim advocacy involves working one-on-one with clients, providing support, information, and referrals. The candidate will also be collaborating with other agencies such as law enforcement, judicial, and human services. The position requires some public speaking and the ability to take a leadership role in planning educational and awareness activities.
