Lecturer of Spanish

UW-Stout seeks an instructor to teach multiple in-person Spanish courses during the fall 2023 semester, including Elementary Spanish I, Intermediate Spanish I, and Spanish Comprehension and Conversation I. Opportunities will also be available to advise students and assist in program development within the Spanish minor. Additional courses may be available during the spring 2024 semester. New instructor training will be provided before classes begin.
 
Minimal Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Spanish or related field, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency
 
Other highly desired qualifications include:
  • Teaching experience in a higher education setting
  • Knowledge of second language instruction pedagogy and methodology
  • Native or near native Spanish fluency
  • Record of interdisciplinary collaboration
