For Lutherans, worship is an ever-changing and -growing experience. 9AM at Peace Lutheran, all are welcome. Connected with and central to everything we do, worship unites us in celebration, engages us in thoughtful dialogue and helps us grow in faith. It grounds us in our Christian and Lutheran roots, while demonstrating practical relevance for today’s world.
On September 11, 2001, our lives and world were changed. In tragic and shocking ways, we suffered terrorist attacks in our homeland, including the murders of 184 at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. Men, women, and children in our congregations and neighborhoods can recall when and where they first learned of these events and the meaning they would have individually and for our world.
Today, we remember the ways our senses and our souls were affected that day. We confess our own brokenness and the brokenness of our world in the aftermath of these attacks. We pray with faith, hope and gratitude for God who is with us always.
