Meet at the Wise Nature Center
Wisconsin is home to over 70 state parks and forests. We often overlook the beauty in our own backyards when looking for a new adventure. Beaver Creek is hoping to start offering explorations of these areas in our state.
The first park to explore is Wildcat Mountain State Park. This park encompasses over 3,600 acres and is located in the drift less area of southwestern Wisconsin overlooking the Kickapoo River. Join a Beaver Creek naturalist as we explore the trails discovering spring wildflowers, experiencing the warbler and bird migration and even check the ice cave for remaining ice formations of the winter.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear; bring a sack lunch and binoculars. Trails can be steep in this park. Transportation and entrance fees will be covered with fee.
