The brilliant professor of 17th century literature, Dr. Vivian Bearing, has cancer, and now finds herself the subject of a painful course of chemotherapy. Margaret Edson’s Pulitzer prize winning play is filled with nuggets of “wit”, as well as questions of what really matters in our lives.
