Blue Devil Productions is proud to present the film “The Muppets” at the University of Wisconsin – Stout on Friday, March 2nd, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in Applied Arts, room 210.
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the wicked plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to destroy the Muppet Theater. Richman wants to drill the recently discovered oil beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppet gang to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever, including everyone’s Muppet favorites: Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Animal, and Gonzo.
