Connecting Generations

Over the last five years, the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts has hosted four Emerging Artist programs -- featuring youth of the Chippewa Valley --and one Seniors in the Spotlight program. Last year, we combined the talents of both groups into one smashingly successful program called Connecting Generations with two-dozen singers, instrumentalists, dancers, and poets.

This year, we continue that theme, designing a show that combines the talents of promising youth with experienced and dedicated musicians, dancers and poets. The Stage Band for 2010 features Jay Collins (alto sax), Sue Orfield (tenor sax), Randy Sinz (bass), Dave Schrader (drums) along with co-producers Patrick Pesek-Herriges (piano) and Yata Peinovic (guitar and vocals).
