Cattle Feeders Workshops

The University of Wisconsin-Extension Livestock team will host the Annual Cattle Feeders workshops in seven locations around the state the week of Jan. 19,2009. The workshops will provide valuable information to both Holstein and beef breed cattle feeders. The program builds on the information provided in the 2008 workshop of Producing Quality Holstein Steers. Current economic conditions have increased the need for producers to carefully manage risk and production. Topics focus on managing production and price risk.

¶ Thursday Jan. 22 Program starts at 10 a.m., Ruby’s Roadhouse, near the Hwy 53 and Hwy 40 intersection, Bloomer. Contact the Chippewa County Extension Office at 715-726-7950.
