Ahimsa

Last show of the season brings back to the Mabel Tainter stage “emerging artist” Terrance Barrett and his band Ahimsa. Ahimsa in its current form, has been together for almost 2 years now. However, it all started out as Zach Ellison and Terrance Barrett as a guitar duo during their sophomore year in high school. After going through one singer and two drummers, Ahimsa has finally achieved its current make up of singer Revay Henneman, bass guitarist Zach Ellison, guitarists Terrance Barrett and Heath Ford as well as drummer Tyler Leikness. Ahimsa likes to experiment with music as much as possible and breakdown genre barriers to create a free flowing stream with endless possibilities. Some of Ahimsa's major influences include Tool, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, Incubus, Deftones, and The Mars Volta.
