Our Annual FreedomFest celebration takes place at Wakanda Park on the 4th of July, the day begins with a 1Mile/5K Run/Walk sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health Systems, numerous entertainers, petting zoo, children's inflatables, live music, Senior Bingo, tasty food from vendors, crafters, storytelling, kickball tournament. Lower Beach activities, food vendors.Sassy Magoo performs on the beach at 8:00 and FreedomFest 2012 ends with a spectacular Fireworks display!

A $1.00 entrance fee is charged to help offset the cost of the Fireworks for the event. Some of the attractions have entrance fees but the majority of the activities are free. The Run/Walk has an entrance fee to be in the race.
