Zoo Animal is an exciting new group out of Minneapolis who is regularly featured on the 89.3 The Current. Their music is a soulful combination of melodies and minimalism with a hint of grunge rock. Also playing will be: Blank Page Empire (Minneapolis\, MN)- heavy Indie rock\; Bensonwells (Minneapolis\, MN) - forceful and driving combination of indie pop rock\; Silent Substitute (Minneapolis\, MN)- fresh pop rock\, and newcomers The Unfortunate (Chicago\, IL) - soulful jazz with a folksy twist\, as well as one more band TBA. \nThere will also be hot roasted pork from Nick the Hick's Burning Hog BBQ and the Blind Munchies coffeehouse will be serving up espresso\, coffee\, and soda drinks. Look for imported items from the Philippines and India\, band merchandise\, raffle drawings\, henna tattoos and an art mural.
