DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, January 19\, The Mabel Tainter Center for The Arts in Menomonie will host A Mid-Winter Gathering of Writers and Readers. Published authors from the region will display their books for sale and visit with book readers. Fiction and non-fiction writers for all ages will be represented.\n\n	The event begins at 1:00 with a presentation by international award winning Menomonie author Kelly McCullough\, a popular writer of fantasy\, science fiction books. Kelly's talk is titled From Codex to Kindle: Writing\, Publishing and Reading in the Modern Era.\n\n	Admission is free. Donations are appreciated. Desserts and beverages will be available. \n\n	 \n\n	Authors interested in participating should contact event coordinator Dick Edwards at 715.235.0469.
