DESCRIPTION:Valley Gospel Choir celebrates its 25th season this year. The group has approximately 80 members from a variety of religious denominations across western Wisconsin and is accompanied by a five-piece pit band. The choir begins weekly rehearsals each May in preparation for its annual July concerts\, which include a diverse repertoire of upbeat gospel-style selections and reflective sacred literature. Director Merlyn Aude likes to include as many familiar melodies as possible\, along with guest instrumentalists\, and a diverse timbre of orchestrations\, soloists\, and a cappella selections.
