DESCRIPTION:The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts will present jazz musicians George Maurer and Rachel Holder for a special Valentine's Day concert on Thursday\, February 14 at 7:30pm. The Valentine's Day themed concert will focus on love songs and "life" songs. Tickets are $25 for adults and $21 for seniors. The price of the ticket includes a post-show dessert reception featuring cheesecake from Love & Butter Bakery. \n\n \n\n George Maurer is a Minneapolis based composer and performer who has composed music for the Saint Paul City Ballet and arranged '80s hits for the Minnesota Orchestra. Maurer has played for President Bill Clinton at the White House\, arranged music with The Chiffons\, and has worked with Eric Clapton. \n\n \n\n George Maurer will be accompanied on stage by vocalist Rachel Holder. The duo has sold out the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis.
