Local and state dignitaries will gather to cut the ribbon on the Doane collection of seven vintage cars. The festivities start at 11 AM with a reception where you can mingle and talk cars with Russell Doane\, collector\; Bob Lorkowski\, who restored many of the cars\, and other car enthusiast. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 12 noon.

The Golden Age of American Auto Design &ndash\; the Doane Collection represents a lifetime of dreaming\, more than 20 years of searching\, and at least a half-million dollars&rsquo\; investment. The private collection of Dunn County agribusiness leader Russell Doane will be displayed through October 2009. The oldest car in the collection is also the rarest: a 1942 Buick convertible\, one of only two believed remaining in the world.

The Rassbach Heritage Museum is located in Wakanda Park in Menomonie. From I-94 take exit 41 south on State Highway 25\; turn left on Pine Avenue to Wakanda Park.
