DESCRIPTION:The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a team fundraising and awareness event to support the fight against cancer. Teams can be formed by businesses\, organizations\, churches\, families\, or any group of 8-15 people. Prior to and at the event\, teams raise funds to support the American Cancer Society's life-saving mission. At the event itself there are ceremonies to celebrate survivors\, remember those lost to cancer\, and empower participants to fight back against this disease year-round. Between the ceremonies team members take turns walking around the track while enjoying the music\, food and activities offered throughout the entire night.
