SUMMARY:Old Fashioned Family Fun Day
DESCRIPTION:Old Fashioned Family Fun Day\, an event for the entire family\, will be held on August 14th from 12:00 ? 4:00 p.m.  Admission for the event is $8.00 for adults and children 12 and up\, $5.00 for children ages 4- 11\, and children 3 and under are free.  Members of the Society receive $1.00 off admission price.  The festivities will begin at noon and everything is included with your admission price\, including food and drinks.  Enjoy refreshments from local favorites such as Culvers\, Pizza Hut\, The Log Jam\, Legacy Chocolates\, Taco Johns and more.  Children will love the selection of historic games and activities such as candle making\, digging for gem stones\, treasure hunts\, and carriage rides through the park.  There will also be art projects\, crafts\, entertainment from local artists\, museum tours and more.  Adults will enjoy the chance to bid on some awesome family friendly silent auction items sure to be a great bargain.  All proceeds from this event will go toward the renovation of the Hilkrest one room school house located on the grounds of the museum.
