DESCRIPTION:The most significatnt part of this day is a poverty simulation that is facilitated by UW-Extension. During the simulation participants get a first-hand experience as to what issues folks face who live in poverty situations in our community. The simulation is an eye opening experience and enjoyable learning event for all that participate. UW-Extension's expertise will lead us through this exercise and have YOU benefit in the experience with us In order to make this event successful we need approximately 25-50 volunteers to be a part of the simulation.
