DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness\, the energy of being awake and aware\, can nourish your life\, as you experience being fully present to whatever is before you: a dish to wash\, a weed to pull\, or a conversation with a friend. Mindfulness supports wellness by cultivating awareness\, ease and understanding. During the two-hour workshop\, participants will learn the technique of breath meditation as well as practical ways to generate the energy of mindfulness and a compassionate presence in activities like speaking\, listening and eating. First time participants are very welcome as well as those who have some past experience or seek a refresher.
