DESCRIPTION:Do you feel stressed? Have you been diagnosed with an ongoing\, chronic or serious medical illness? Have you experienced a significant loss in your life? Do you think you could feel better? Red Cedar Medical Center Mayo Health System invites you to register for a "Mind body skills" group that will meet on Wednesdays\, Jan. 7 to Jan. 28\, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. All sessions will be held in the West Conference Room\, Red Cedar Medical Center\, 2321 Stout Road\, Menomonie. Attendees should use the main clinic entrance and follow the signs.  Kathy Farah\, M.D.\, family medicine\, Red Cedar Medical Center\, will help participants explore a variety of self-help techniques and focus on the relationship between emotional\, mental\, social\, spiritual and physical health. Dr. Farah has completed training through the Center of Mind and Body Medicine in Washington\, D.C.  She has led groups for a variety of populations including Hurricane Katrina victims\, children involved in the I-35 bridge collapse\, Children's Hospital-Minneapolis Integrative Medicine Clinic patients and local communities.
