EO Johnson Adds on to Eau Claire Location
EAU CLAIRE, WI – EO Johnson Business Technologies is excited to announce a new building expansion to its Eau Claire, Wisconsin location. The project will create space to house a state-of-the-art customer showroom, expand IT operations and expand the warehouse and parts.
This initiative, which was recently approved by the City of Eau Claire Plan Commission, will expand the location by nearly 8,000 square feet. Company leaders including Dave Johnson, Vice President of Sales, and Mary Jo Johnson, CEO/Owner of EO Johnson Business Technologies look forward to the new addition.
“Back in 2000 we built our new facility here on Prairie Lane. Now 16 years later, we outgrew this building and are so excited to expand this location and to continue our commitment to the Chippewa Valley. Our community is so important to us and a special thank you to our customers for doing business with us,” said Dave Johnson.
The Eau Claire facility is a central part to EO Johnson’s seven locations and often serves as a company-wide meeting place. This location also serves as the company home for Production Print.
“It is exciting to be adding to and enriching our Eau Claire location! This buildout and remodel will give us the opportunity to showcase the latest in business and information technology, as well as demonstrating exciting tools and solutions available now to enhance workflow and growth,” said Mary Jo Johnson.
Since the creation of the current building in 2000, the number of employees has expanded from 63 in 2003 to 81 in 2016. The growth rate is believed to remain at consistent levels for years to come.
Construction work is set to begin on the facility this fall.
